Cigna Dental Insurance
Dental insurance policies can seem completely unfathomable if you don’t work with them on a regular basis. Luckily for Clarksville dental patients, the Arkansas River Valley Dentistry team can help you with all of your dental insurance questions. We are happy to process and file claims for most benefit plans, and we offer in-network coverage for many major PPO providers, including, Cigna. If you have a dental benefit policy through Cigna, please let us know before your appointment. Our knowledgeable dental care team will work with you to maximize your Cigna plan benefits. Any time you have questions about your Cigna policy, please don’t hesitate to give our team a call. We’re always happy to help.
Your Cigna Benefit Plan
There are three main Cigna dental insurance plans – Cigna Dental Preventive, Cigna Dental 1000 and Cigna Dental 1500. Each of these plans provides unique coverage options based on the amount you pay each month for your plan premiums. All three plans will cover almost all of your preventive dentistry services, including checkups, cleanings, and diagnostic x-rays. For more advanced restorative dentistry services and orthodontics, your coverage will be dependent upon your individual plan. A member of our team will be happy to review your policy prior to beginning any dental services, and when you need an advanced treatment, we will take the time to file for preauthorization to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises after your treatment. Our knowledgeable dentistry team will walk you through your treatment plan explaining the costs for each service, your out of pocket payments, and your dental insurance coverage. We want our patients to feel completely confident in their dental care plans, including cost, before we move forward with any treatment.
In-Network Dental Care
As an in-network provider with Cigna, the Arkansas River Valley Dentistry team agrees to charge specific fees for your covered dentistry services. These fees are outlined by Cigna as being fair and average prices for specific dental services. Because we agree to Cigna’s pricing, you will only need to pay the out of pocket costs associated with your treatment. Out of network dental practices may charge higher fees for their dentistry services, but you will need to pay the difference in price in addition to your out of pocket percentage of the treatment cost. Typically, these differences in pricing are negligible, but when you visit an in-network dental office, you don’t have to worry about these additional fees.
Financing Options
At the time of treatment, we do ask that patients be prepared to pay for the out of pocket costs of their dental services. We accept payment in cash, check, and credit card. We are also happy to work with CareCredit, a third party financer, to provide patients with low and no interest payment plans to fit the cost of even the most advanced dentistry services into your budget.
